About Leftnode Software
Leftnode Software is a new, small, and progressive software company based in Mesquite, TX. We serve the entire Dallas/Ft. Worth area primarily, but love working with out of town clients just as well! We're just two members strong now, but we're really passionate about what we do. We believe that software should be built to make peoples lives easier and to improve our daily conditions. I suppose I could dazzle you with years of experience, marketing keywords, or flashy graphics, but I honestly can't. All I can say is that Leftnode Software is committed to being a great software company, we're very passionate about our work, and we'd love to help you out!
Designing software is an art form that we take very seriously. We love what we do and we're absolutely certain that our processes can help your business succeed.
Clients have an option when working with Leftnode Software. We have many solutions based on tested products that can be purchased for a one time price and installed separately. We like to use a combination of off-the-shelf components and handwritten software. This means we choose the best tool for the job, allowing us to build your software quickly. In addition to our base prices, additional consultation such as installation and customization can be purchased separately. We're fair though, and always provide a good amount of free support with the initial purchase of any of our products.
We're very open about our pricing. Rates for all of our services start at $100 an hour.

We believe in giving back to the community when we can. Because all of our work is based on Open Source Software, we give back to the Open Source community as much as possible. Our PHP5 framework that much of our work is built on, Artisan System is entirely open source and free to use for your own projects. Additionally, whenever you purchase one of our products, whether an Internet based solution or desktop software, you'll receive the full source code to modify to your needs. Of course, we're available to modify the source for you since we're pretty familiar with it. Finally, we're members of the Free Software Foundation.
Pro Bono Projects
Each year, we select a project to take on a pro-bono basis. This means the entire project is free to the client. Generally, we prefer non-profit organizations to do this for. Fill out the Request For Proposal form. Even if we can not take your project on as pro-bono, we'll still try our best to service your needs at a rate that you can afford.
